Gavin began his real estate career in 1999 by working for NAI Commercial Pacific and a year later was hired by Commercial West Associates. He has been providing commercial real estate sales and leasing services for landlord’s and retail clients throughout the Central Valley for the past thirteen years.

Gavin’s expertise is in representing developer’s and landlord’s in leasing new and existing retail shops space for neighborhood and power shopping centers. Gavin’s understanding of real estate economics, responsiveness and architectural background allows him to balance personal service and create practical solutions that produce results. His years of experience have afforded him exclusive representation with developer’s and retailer’s throughout the Central Valley and Central Coast. He provides professional real estate services such as negotiation and preparation of commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, development proforma’s and the coordination of architectural planning, remodeling of new and existing shopping centers.
BUSINESS & EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Gavin’s background includes attending Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California the premier industrial design school in the United States. Upon graduating he began his business career by working for The Xerox Corporation where he was extensively trained in an depth sales training program to develop specific client based solutions resulting in new sales.
In the early nineties Gavin worked at McClelland, Cruz, Gaylord Architects a leading international retail architectural firm where his experiences included architectural and construction management for the expansion of retailers such as Jamba Juice, Rite Aid and Bright Smile across the United States. He worked with clients such as, Forest City Development and Halferty Development in the formation of new shopping centers where his responsibilities included overseeing new developments, managing consultants, performing due diligence of future projects, overseeing the construction phase of various projects to ensure they each meet budget and time obligations.
During the past thirteen years Gavin has played a primary role in the leasing team at Commercial West Associates a commercial real estate firm which exclusively handles the leasing and sales of millions of square feet of existing retail power and neighborhood shopping centers owned by Zinkin Development. As a “team player” he has worked closely with his clients to successfully pre-lease and negotiate anchor tenant, pad and shops for several new retail developments.
